Sail Away

I cannot get enough of this nautical print from Liberty blue. I mean, just look at how cute this skirt is! Teamed with a simple blouse, with a pretty little peter-pan collar, I'm letting the skirt do all the talking. I also really love anything with pockets, mainly because sometimes I feel a bit awkward with my hands and pockets are a great way of hiding them. Also, even though this outfit is very feminine, I can still accommodate my inner-tomboy by slouching a little with my hands shoved in my front pockets!

In this outfit, I feel like something straight out of Mad Men, which happens to be one of my favourite TV shows. I would give anything to look like Joan, so I'm not complaining about that one bit! Unlike Joan, I don't work in an office or even anything remotely similar, so I'll just have to channel this look when I'm shopping in Tesco or something...

Anyway, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far!

Sixties Doll

Obsessed with this little shift dress, I just love the sixties inspired shape and pointed collar! It's actually a really nice pastel blue colour, but I thought I would post some black and white photographs to change things up. These photographs were actually taken a while ago when the weather was a little brighter and I can't wait to wear this style of dress more in Summer!

Anyway, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!

Yellow Flowers

Happy Friday everybody! The sun is shining today here in Ireland and it seems like everybody had the same idea, because the beer gardens are jam packed! I have been enjoying a relaxing few days because I have a week or so before my last exam. So, I'm trying to make the most of it by doing absolutely nothing

Today was the hottest day of the year so far, and sunny weather calls for a summer dress! I love this floral dress, available from my favourite boutique Liberty Blue. The white background with the lovely yellow floral print makes it perfect for a sunny day just like this one!

Anyway, just a short post from me this evening as I'm very busy, you know, doing nothing...

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Little Details

I wore this outfit while out and about last Sunday, it was such a lovely sunny day and I didn't even need to wear a jacket. A sure sign that Summer is on it's way!

I usually talk about just the clothes in my outfit posts but today's post is about the little details that can really pull an outfit together. Last week, I picked up this amazing statement necklace from New Look. It's so pretty, I just want to wear it with everything! Pastel colours are still doing it for me, as you can tell, I even have a matching mint phone cover.

Earlier this month, I posted about Irish brand, Black Tied, and their wonderful range of jewellery. I have actually be wearing this little Rose Quartz Gold Fatima bracelet non-stop since I got it. Now I can't wait to get some more and stack them up!

Last but not least, can we please just take a moment to talk about these shoes? The amazing Irish blogger Leanne Woodfull held a give away not too long ago, and I was lucky enough to win these ridiculously amazing Red or Dead silver brogues. I absolutely love them! The actually go with more outfits than I thought they would and they are really comfortable too. Make sure you check out Leanne's blog Thunder + Threads here!

Anyway, just a little post from me today because, you guessed it, exams are still taking over my life. Thankfully they'll all be over soon!

I hope you're all having a lovely week so far.

Summertime In Bloom

Another Summer dress... how original, I know! Seriously though, sometimes it can be really hard to find the right floral printed dress, and when I spotted this one I instantly fell in love with it. To be honest, I usually avoid anything bodycon but I just thought I would try this dress on anyway because I loved the print so much.

I have to say that I am  really glad I did because it feels great on! Most of the time, I sort of feel like I am dressed like a little girl, but I actually feel quite, um, woman-ly in this dress! Both the material and the cut make it super flattering and I absolutely love the neckline on it as well.

Anyway, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far. I have an exam tomorrow and I am super nervous. Wish me luck!

Black Tied

I first discovered the Irish brand Black Tied on Twitter and I was immediately drawn  in by their unique range of jewels. They have so much on offer so it was quite hard to choose but in the end I got myself the Gold Evil Eye Crystal Chain Bracelet and the Rose Quartz and Gold Fatima Bracelet. Before I got these, I didn't really wear bracelets that much but since they arrived, I have been wearing them non stop! I just think they look so pretty together, I especially love the colour of the Rose Quartz bracelet. These pieces will definitely see me through the Summer, but I can't wait to get some more to add to my collection!

You can shop Black Tied on ASOS Marketplace here.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far!

Ahoy Sailor

I have always had a soft spot for nautical inspired clothing and this lovely dress from Liberty Blue is no exception. The lovely coral colour is super flattering on any skin tone and the cut and material make this dress very comfortable to wear. I am in love with the cross over detail on the back, it's just so pretty! This dress makes for an incredibly easy Summer look. All I need now is a holiday by the sea!

I hope you are all having a lovely week so far!

Who's That Girl?

Hello there! I almost can't believe the weekend is here already, these past few weeks have flown by so quickly. It's all good though because that means Summer is just around the corner. My exams start next week so that's why I haven't be so active on my blog lately, I can't express to you how awful my revision is going for them (really awful) but it'll all be over soon! Anyway, the other day I was running around town in this lovely little dress from Liberty Blue, it really reminds me of Jess Day from New Girl aka all time girl crush Zooey Deschanel. The weather is always a bit unpredictable in Ireland but this was definitely a “legs out” day!

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far!

May Wish List ♡

May Wish List

Hello there! I feel so bad for neglecting my blog lately, I have just been so incredibly busy preparing for exams, but after this month I will be free. Yay! I have been very busy indeed, but that's not to say I haven't been procrastinating just a little here and there. My student loan arrived a few days ago, so naturally I have been looking online, trying to decide what I should blow it on. Will I ever learn? Probably not. I decided to put together a little wish list of all the things I would love to get this month. Enjoy!

What's on your May wish list?

I hope all have a fantastic day. Happy Friday!
